Vote for Same-Sex Couples in Crate & Barrel's Ultimate Wedding Contest

Anti-gay blogs have taken an innocent competition called "The Ultimate Wedding Contest" being held by Crate and Barrel to urge their readers to make sure only a straight couple wins. The contest is for people to choose their favorite couples story and the grand prize is a 100,000 dollar dream wedding. 18 other couples will also win prizes.

Voting is open for a little over two weeks and with so many adorable same-sex couples like (Greg & Jon) and (Emily & Rachel) to choose from lets counter the anti-gay bias from some parts of the blogosphere.

The 'Chase Bank Community Giving' contest is in the final voting round and the organization with the most votes will win 1 million dollars, the subsequent five will receive 100,000 dollars. Of the top 100 organizations voted in so far, three are LGBT. Choose your favorite one and make sure that an LGBT organization receives the funds.

We have teamed up with Kiss Me I'm Queer a retailer of LGBTQ pride clothing and items to raffle off a prize for one of our readers. The Los Angeles gay and lesbian center's Project Pushback, an opportunity for people to submit video messages for marriage equality has ended.

Now the public can sign up and vote on their favorite videos until June 16th, and enter to win a Sony HD Video Camera.
