Organization Spotlight: The International Association of Gay/Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs

The International Association of Gay/Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs promotes country western dancing, activities and music to all persons without regard to age, sex, gender or gender identity, religion, national or cultural origin, sexual orientation, disability or HIV status.

So You Think You Can Dance Features Same-Sex Dancers

Fox’s So you Think You Can Dance has featured a same-sex dancing couple Jacob Jason and Willem De Vries on their show. This is a clear turn from the earlier controversy where judge Nigel Lythgoe unfairly criticized same-sex dancing. This show introduced the audience into the world of same-sex ballroom dancing, and showed the raw emotion of the dance partners.
